Study campus for the Sword-fish project is referred to the "Sword-fish capture monitoring"

( May-August ) The day after arrival, usually in the morning, at 7/7.30, visitors embark on a feluca; on board they will be given short lessons concerning the "Strait" characteristics, the fishing system and in particular the sword-fish biology. During the day people can collaborate with the researchers in collecting data, have lunch on board. The departure time is at about 5 p.m. but this interesting experience will be repeated the day after. From these boats it is possible to observe not only the sword-fish but also other wonderful animals such as whales, dolphins, giant devilray, sharks, tuna-fishes, spearfish, sunfish, turtles and other species which usually cross these seas. Clothes must be light but it is also important to wear hats, boat shoes and take a suncream and a k-way for the windy days; we suggest to bring a camera and a binoculars.
